Louis Grasso is a Chief Operating Officer for Grasso Realty Group, LLC. Specializing in commercial investment and development real estate. GRG has a team specializing in the sale of marinas, experienced in both the sales and management of marinas. Lou has enjoyed a successful career in the real estate and finance industries for nearly 4 decades. He is licensed in Maryland, D.C., Virginia, Pennsylvania and Oklahoma.

Before forming The Marina Team, Grasso was CEO of Washington Suburban Mortgage which, after 10 successful years, was acquired by a major financial institution, as well as Co-Trustee for Mid-Atlantic REIT. He also served as Chairman of Southern Floridabanc's holding company in Del Ray, Florida. Lou is recognized as an expert in the real estate and finance industries and has lectured at several schools and colleges throughout the United States.

Lou presently serves as a member of the Charles County Planning Commission and also served on the Economic Development Commission for 6 years as Vice Chairman and Chairman in the final year of his service.

Doug has been with Grasso Realty Group for six years in a variety of support staff roles. Recently, as the Company's market has expanded regionally, he has been instrumental in developing a sophisticated profile from which our targeted databases have been developed.

Doug also serves as GRG's Restaurant Leasing Specialist. His expertise is in negotiating leases, buying, selling, renting, and valuing restaurants. He has leased fine restaurants such as Gustavo's Italian Restaurant in La Plata, Maryland.

Additionally, Doug is licensed in Maryland and Virginia with applications pending in several more. He is also a member of the Marine Trade Association of Maryland, Association of Marine Industries, Marina Dock Age, National Marine Manufacturing Association, and the Tidewater Marine Trade Association of Virginia.

Joe Salvo is a well known figure in the marina industry. Before joining GRG, he worked in a variety of fields and owned multiple businesses. At a young age, Joe operated his own painting business. After a few years at that he decided to pursue his first love by learning inside and out the auto repair business, eventually opening his own full service shop, which was very successful and is still operated by the family. It was not long before a leader in the industrial equipment field recruited Joe to assist them in the development of the equipment they manufactured.

In 1997, Joe and his wife Cindy, bought Point Lookout Marina, a neglected business in a perfect location in St. Mary's County. Joe saw a lot of potential in the marina based on its location, near the confluence of the Chesapeake Bay and Potomac River in Ridge, Maryland. The marina contains 169 wet slips and 125 dry slips on 14 acres. Boaters there can enjoy the pool, the restaurant (Joe is also a gourmet chef) and all the full service facilities.

Joe oversaw the entire operation and was very hands on, he worked on the engines, operated the forklift, travel lift, railway and crane, as well as fiberglass work and refinishing yachts up to 55'. He was able to bid on, and was awarded contracts, for the Navy Corp of Engineers and even the Maryland Dove.

In 2002, Hurricane Isabel flooded the marina and destroyed the existing restaurant. It took over a year to design and rebuild the restaurant. Eventually, Joe and Cindy decided to sell the Marina and enjoy life a little. Point Lookout Marina was sold in 2007 by Grasso Realty Group and Joe was so impressed he decided to join our team!

Connie Neville specializes in the sale of self storage, industrial, retail, office and marina properties in New England and environmentally impacted sites nationwide. She has represented REITS, financial institutions, as well as national, regional and local property owners in the acquisition and disposition of their real estate assets.

In 2000, Neville founded her own full service brokerage firm, C.M. Neville & Associates. Under her direction the firm closed a variety of investment sale transactions and end-user purchases. In 2003 Connie Neville was invited to join Sperry Van Ness and currently serves as a Managing Director. Prior to entering commercial real estate Neville practiced law serving as litigator and negotiator for individuals, business owners, corporations and insurance companies. Coupled with her commercial real estate expertise, Neville's legal training and experience enable her to effectively negotiate deals in the best interest of all parties.

Neville received her Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law, her master's degree from George Washington University and her bachelor's degree from Skidmore College. Currently she is pursuing her CCIM candidacy.

Connie Neville recently joined the Grasso Realty Group team to help head our New England regional management team. Connie's diverse background in law, real estate and investment property will make her a valuable asset to our clients in the New England area.
